The Strawberry Festival is the Bourne Historical Society’s longest running fundraiser. Started in 1972 by Beth Bourne who would lead 4-H students and girl scout troupes to pick local strawberries.

Our sincere thanks go out to everyone who joined us for the 53rd Annual Strawberry Festival at the Museums at APtucxet! Because of you, our visitors, volunteers, vendors and sponsors, this year’s festival was a fantastic success. We loved celebrating this sweet tradition together with delicious strawberry shortcakes, local music, crafts, history and family fun by the beautiful Cape Cod Canal.
