Strawberry Festival

The Strawberry Festival is the Bourne Historical Society’s longest running fundraiser. Started in 1972 by Beth Bourne who would lead 4-H students and girl scout troops to pick local strawberries and volunteers from the Society to whip up fresh cream and bake hundreds of fluffy biscuits!

Museums at Aptucxet, 6 Aptucxet Rd in Bourne.

We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the 54th Annual Strawberry Festival at the Museums at Aptucxet! Join us as we continue this much-loved tradition with our famous strawberry shortcakes, fresh whipped cream and a full day of family-friendly fun along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal.

In addition to all the favorites you’ve come to expect like delicious food from the grill, local music, kids activities and tours of our historic buildings, we are excited to feature an antique car show and a craft fair showcasing local artisans.

This event is one of our most important fundraisers of the year, and your support helps sustain the ongoing work of the Bourne Historical Society. We look forward to celebrating with you!
